ODA 19.19 Release is Now Available!

ODA 19.19 버전이 릴리즈되었네요

위의 URL 이나 밑에 적을 원본 내용을 확인하면 아시겠지만 몇가지 내용이 정리되어 있네요

2023년 4월 버전의 RU 패치가 포함되어 있고 Oracle Dual port 25Gb 이더넷 어뎁터 지원, 

Bare-Metal Deploy로는 19.19 까지 지원가능, DB System/KVM Deploy시에는 일부 21c 버전의 DB까지 지원이 가능하다고 합니다.

19.19 버전이 X6 모델에서는 마지막 지원이라고 하네요. 이후에는 모델 업을 해야하나 보니다.

ODA 19.19 Release is Now Available!

ODA 19.19 Release is now available for bare metal and KVM deployments of all supported models (ODA X9, X8, X7, and X6).  See the ODA 19.19 Release Notes for additional information, Patch Reference, and Known Issues. 

Here is a summary:

  • Database Release Update (RU) and Clone files: ODA 19.19 includes the April 2023 Database Release Update and clone files for 19c.
  • Support to configure the network speed for Oracle Dual Port 25 Gb Ethernet Adapter. This enables customers to use the dual rate 10/25Gb transceiver in all cases.
  • For Bare-Metal deployments: supports provisioning of 19c databases. Supports patching ODA Appliance Manager from 19.15/19.16/19.17/19.18 to 19.19 Release.
  • For DB Systems (KVM) deployments: supports provisioning of 19c (19.15 to 19.19) and 21c (21.5 to 21.8) databases. Supports DB system database patching from 19.15/19.16/19.17/19.18 to 19.19 and from 21.4/21.5/21.6/21.7 to 21.8.
    • ODA 19.19 does not include clone file for the latest 21c version, but customers can patch the database out of cycle (refer to documentation for steps). 
  • ODA 19.19 is the terminal release for Oracle Database Appliance X6 models. For customers who want to continue to receive the latest ODA software, we recommend to consider upgrading to the latest ODA models.
